As the oldest state park in Indiana, McCormick's Creek State Park has a rich heritage of both natural and cultural resources. Founded in 1916, the park has been a long time favorite for nature study, recreation, gatherings, and getaways.

Today, McCormick's Creek State Park encompasses over 1,900 acres of parkland, including the beautiful Wolf Cave Nature Preserve. Numerous hiking trails, a nature center, riding stable, Olympic size swimming pool, the Canyon Inn and many other amenities serve the public each year.
